onlYoga Data Protection Policy

Your privacy is very important to us and is protected in accordance with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). The GDPR is a regulation by which the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union and the European Commission intend to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU).

Data We Collect

Personal data collected by onlYoga is as follows:

  • First and Last Name

  • Place and Date of Birth

  • City or Country of Residence

  • Street Address

  • Phone Number

  • Email Address

The data listed above is collected on the first visit to the studio. Everyone who enters onlYoga Studio to take a class or to get a massage is required to fill out a liability release form. The data listed above may also be requested in the event an individual wishes to sign up for a workshop, seminar or retreat sponsored by onlYoga.

Other data we collect:

  • Medical Certificate

  • Bank Payment Details (Name on Account, Name of Bank, IBAN or Debit/Credit Card Number and Expiration)

Why We Collect Data

Your personal data is processed and collected for the following service purposes:

  • To fulfill pre-contractual and contractual obligations

  • To fulfill tax obligations

  • To process booking(s) and/or payment(s) for classes, massages, workshops, seminars or retreats

  • To send occasional emails with updates about the studio, class schedules and any workshops, seminars or retreats that are scheduled. Email is also used to send students enrolling in the Monthly Auto-Unlimited plan a copy of their contract if they choose a PDF over receiving a physical photocopy of their contract.

  • To exercise the rights of the owners

  • A Medical/Health certificate is required by onlYoga Studio to establish that a student is in good physical health and has been cleared by a physician to practice yoga. The health certificate contains no private medical history or diagnosis and is only intended to demonstrate the student is healthy enough to practice yoga.

Squarespace uses Analytics to collect information on behalf of onlYoga Studio about how visitors interact with our site. It also provides geographical information (Country and City or State of origin) of visitors to the site. The analytics used by Squarespace/onlYoga will record the users IP address but these Analytics in no way identify the user by name or allow us to track a user’s internet activity beyond our website. Third Party Data Processors

onlYoga maintains a social network presence to promote the studio and interact with the yoga community. onlYoga has accounts with Facebook and Instagram. Facebook and Instagram are third party data processors and both operate within the guidelines of the GDPR. onlYoga has no control over how these social networks collect or use your personal data. It is up to the individual using Facebook and/or Instagram to be familiar with the privacy policies and guidelines used by these social networks. When joining Facebook or Instagram you will have accepted/consented to the privacy standards and guidelines set forth by these networks. If you are unsure of your privacy level and what personal data is being shared by either of these social networks go to your privacy settings and make any changes you see fit; and read the privacy policy if you haven’t already done so.

Personal Data Security and Storage

Your personal data is kept and checked by adopting appropriate preventative security measures aimed at minimizing loss or destruction, unauthorized access, and any treatment which is not authorized or permitted or differs from the purpose for which it was collected or processed. There is no automated decision making process, nor any profiling activity as referred to in Article 22, paragraphs 1 and 4 of the GDPR.

All personal data is stored on the premises of onlYoga Studio (Via Canova 17 Trieste, ITA) or on onlYoga’s computers. Personal data may be stored by third parties in the case of seminars, workshops, or retreats - see section on data transfers.

Data Transfers

The management and conservation of personal data will take place within the European Union.

Personal data may be transferred to various third parties in the case of seminars, workshops, or retreats. The data transferred will only be what is necessary in order to fulfill the obligations of the event. For example, names may be given out to a visiting teacher so they know who is participating in a workshop. Or name and any other required information needed may be transferred in order to book a yoga retreat, or to secure lodging or transportation for a yoga retreat.

Accessing, Modifying or Deleting Your Personal Data

At the end of the storage period, inactive students data will be deleted by onlYoga Studio. When the data storage period is over the personal data collected will be deleted. Therefore, upon expiration of this period of time the right of access, cancellation, rectification and the right to the portability of the Data can no longer be exercised.
